By accessing or using BusyBaht you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy that sits alongside them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms are addressed to natural persons, and if you use the site for an organisation you act for it and bind it to what you agree here. The site is offered to people old enough to form a binding agreement under the law that applies to them.

BusyBaht is an information service. It collects the published prices, unit prices and promotions of the Thai grocery retailers it covers (currently Makro, Lotus's, Tops and Big C), brings them into one catalogue, and uses them to compare products and to help plan and optimise a shopping basket across retailers.

It is not a shop. No product is sold on this site, no order is taken, and no payment is processed. When you decide what to buy you shop at the retailer, on that retailer's own terms. The comparison, the unit prices and the basket suggestions are a guide assembled from published information, not advice, a recommendation to buy, or an offer to sell.

This is the section that matters most, so it says what it means.

Prices on this site are collected periodically from published retailer sources and reflect a point in time. They can be out of date, incomplete, wrong in the source, or specific to a store, a membership tier or a promotion that has since ended. A price shown here may differ from the price you are offered at the retailer's checkout, and a product shown here may be out of stock or unavailable at the retailer.

We do our best to keep the catalogue current and to correct errors promptly when they are reported, so far as Thai law allows, but we make no warranty that prices, unit prices, offers or availability are accurate, complete or up to date. Please treat the numbers as a starting point rather than a guarantee (especially for a large purchase), and confirm at the retailer before you pay.

You may use the site for the purposes it exists for: looking up prices, comparing products and planning a shop. You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest or collect the catalogue or any part of it at scale, or build a database from it;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute our content, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes;
• circumvent rate limits, access controls, or any technical measure we use to protect the site;
• use the site in a way that overloads, degrades or interferes with it or with other people's use of it;
• impersonate someone else, misrepresent an affiliation, or misappropriate credentials; or
• use the site for anything unlawful, in Thailand or where you are.

If you are a developer using our API, the terms of the API agreement that issued your credentials also apply, and where these terms and those differ, the API agreement governs the API.

Most of the site works without an account. Accounts exist for people who operate or maintain the platform, and for developers who are issued API credentials; they are granted by invitation with defined permissions rather than opened freely.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and with your credentials. Keep them secret, do not share them, and tell us promptly if you suspect they have been compromised. We may suspend or revoke an account or a credential where we have reason to (a breach of these terms, a security concern, or an account that is no longer needed), and we will explain where we can. Revocation ends your access to anything only that account could reach.

Retailer names, logos, trade marks and product images belong to their owners. We use them to identify the products and retailers this site compares (the ordinary, fair nominative use that makes a comparison service possible), and nothing here transfers any ownership in them.

The catalogue itself, the matching and comparison, the site design and the software are owned by us or our licensors. Merely viewing the site gives you no licence to copy, reuse or redistribute any of it beyond the ways these terms permit.

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of Thailand, and subject always to the next paragraph:

• we are not liable for decisions you make on the strength of this site, including purchases you make with a retailer after using it;
• we are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses, including lost savings or lost business arising from a price that changed between our collection and your checkout;
• we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited: for example liability for fraud, or for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.

The information on this site does not constitute financial, legal, commercial or other professional advice.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the "Effective" date at the top of this page becomes the new date, and the changes apply to use from that date onwards. Material changes are announced: on this page, and wherever else is proportionate to how much they affect you.

Continued use of the site after a new effective date means you accept the new terms. If you keep a copy of the version you relied on, it will continue to govern how we treated your earlier use.
